The construction project made significant progress in the second quarter of 2026: The structural work – and thus the entire solid structure – was successfully completed. The final inspection took place at the end of July. Only a few remaining tasks are still pending and will be completed as construction continues.
Despite various challenges during the construction phase, including weather-related delays and additional foundation work, the structural shell was completed within one year. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of everyone involved, the construction site was strategically reinforced during the final phase, and construction progress was successfully accelerated.
Work on enclosing the building envelope began immediately afterward. The installation of aluminum windows and waterproofing work are already underway, and the facades will be installed in August. This will lay the groundwork for promptly beginning drywall work and, subsequently, the installation of building services.
The overall schedule also looks promising: Project stakeholders have optimized workflows and are consistently working toward the next milestones. As things stand, the building is scheduled to be handed over to the user at the end of 2027, as planned. Overall, the project remains on track.
