The first I³-CONNECT took place on February 6, 2025.
The I³ building and the fields of work in the building were presented in five short talks. Prof. Martens, founder of the MOLIT Institute and Clinic Director of Oncology at the SLK Clinic, spoke about new findings in cancer medicine and why the geographical proximity of the research laboratory to the SLK clinics offers great potential. Prof. Fegeler, also founder of the MOLIT Institute and professor at the HHN, gave an overview of the facilities in the new I³ building. Dr. Jechlinger and Dr. Sigle introduced the fields of work of the Core Labs. The event concluded with Prof. Windberger, also professor at HHN, who gave a brief overview of the planned quantum computer and the potential of quantum computing in the future.
The event was concluded with joint discussions and plastic representations on the 1:50 model in the foyer.
